Atlanta Falcon Sean Weatherspoon, the founder of Spoon Full of Hope Foundation, sponsored dinner for 30 families on Dec. 10, 2017, as the foundation celebrated its fourth year of servicing the community. The dinner was held at Atlanta’s College Football Hall of Fame to which the foundation provided fulfilling and nutritious meals as well as a Christmas bonus to metro Atlanta families in need.

On February 11, 2018 - Atlanta Falcon Sean Weatherspoons’ foundation “Spoonful of Hope” restocked the Math Department’s shelves with new supplies at Lithonia High School. Weatherspoons “Spoonful of Hope” Foundation donated over $5,500 worth of new tech equipment, paper goods, sanitary items, office supplies as well as other scholastic items. Each Math teachers made a list and Weatherspoon delivered the supplies personally to each classroom. Before his departure from the school Weatherspoon took time to have an open discussion with the students about being focused in school as well as what the “Spoonful of Hope” Foundation means to the community. Prior to this initiative, Weatherspoon took action in 20013 with “Restock the Classroom” where he donated a grocery list of scholastic supplies to a well deserving school. The supplies were sourced through consideration of teachers as well as principals that shared their story with the foundation. This year Coach Sam Marion of Lithonia High school contacted some fellow alumni to assist the high school’s math department with the supplies needed to get through the rest of the school year. The Spoonful of Hope Foundation plans to continue supporting the community and enhancing lives while building strong relationship bonds throughout many cities. On December 10, 2017 Atlanta Falcon Sean Weatherspoon, founder of The Spoon Full Of Hope Foundation, sponsored dinner for 30 families at the College Football Hall of Fame. In their 4th year of service, Spoon Full of Hope provided a fulfilling meal as well as a Christmas bonus to metro Atlanta families in need. The kids enjoyed football agility drills lead by Weatherspoon and received signed jersey’s, hats as well as personalized autographed items of their choice; which he hopes instills a lasting impression on their lives. Additionally, while patrons enjoyed their meal the families took home a heart warming gift card that Weatherspoon hopes will enable them to enjoy their holiday season. The participants also danced away on the coca cola video screens and snapped take away memories with the photo booth. Lastly, this years Spoon Feed a Family event was in association with the New Baptist Church of Atlanta who brought fourth the families. Sean’s ultimate goal is to continue to make lasting impressions on the lives of children who are apart of the next generation of pioneers.
